因為非正規(guī)廠家生產(chǎn)的模型產(chǎn)品未經(jīng)航空公司、飛機制作廠授權，而是通過偽造正規(guī)廠家產(chǎn)品，或許通過互聯(lián)網(wǎng)上搜集的一些飛機圖片生產(chǎn)而成，因而模型的仿真程度相對較差、比例失調(diào)。正規(guī)廠家則是依據(jù)航空公司、飛機制作廠所供給圖紙生產(chǎn)模型。

正規(guī)生產(chǎn)廠家為 產(chǎn)品的品質，在模型生產(chǎn)中所選用的都是價錢較貴的高等涂料，因而這種模型即便長時間存放也不容易涌現(xiàn)變黃、褪色等景象；而小企業(yè)以及非正規(guī)企業(yè)為了降低生產(chǎn)本錢則選用價錢低廉的涂料，這種涂料生產(chǎn)出來的模型剛開始與大廠家生產(chǎn)出來基礎無異，然而短則半年長則一年就會逐步涌現(xiàn)變黃、褪色的狀況，這也是為什么一些廠家能把價錢壓得更低的原因之一。

小模型生產(chǎn)企業(yè)機非正規(guī)范圍型生產(chǎn)工藝的限制，以及為勤儉本錢而選用較差的材料的原因，他們所產(chǎn)生出來模型的機翼，發(fā)起機等部件咋運輸途中十分容易斷裂、脫離。這種損失率在成批的貨物運輸中可能相對較小，然而關于少量貨物的快遞運輸中這種損失率有時甚至于高達百分之七十以上。
